The Viral Factor

This film left me thrilled in all aspect. Firstly, it has got a brilliant cast line up with a top notch performance in all angles coupled with a tight screenplay that never ceases to discourage. Their actors portray the profound nature of the true resembling character with the slightest distortion and I am referring to both Nicholas Tse (Man Yeung) and Jay Chou (Jon Man). You could feel the intensity and action in them and the opposite is very much true of Andy On (Sean Wong) who portrays the cold-hearted bastard that only has eyes on foul money. The script was not only good, but it severely punishes the action-thirst fan who yearns nothing more but ongoing thrills, kungfu scenes, car chasing, jumping off high buildings and gun fights. This movie promises everything, nearly all the components that make up a great action-terror film.

The masterworks and the delicate craftsmanship of Dante Lam is written all over the film from the chair-gripping starting scene towards the end of it all. Even for an intense action film, one can easily rest assured with its interesting sideplots that are as equally entertaining as its significant other. I shan't reveal much, but what you have already know from the synopsis. This movie is not a low-cut budget flicks that you may have anticipated, in fact, it comes close, if not even better than most of the recent Hollywood films.

So go watch it this CNY. I can guarantee that you shan't regret it!

Movie Rating:- 8/10
