MVA Terminology

There has been a lot of difficult description upon describing the mechanism of motor vehicular accidents since the beginning of time up till the point that of certain few, they are bound to be made into a bunch of hilarity. I recently came across a statement where it ran like this:-

"MB vs. hit pig"

Of course, in terms of locality such as us, we could easily interpret the message into the translation that the victim riding a motorbike (termed shortly as MB) has hit a pig before succumbing to a fall and sustained injuries thereafter. But for a certain group of individuals, this would mean a lot of tough cracking, as if it is a code in order to be able to understand upon clarification of those terms. The funny thing would of course be the fact that certain translation like one of my colleagues came to misinterpret that the motorbike in question must have went head to head with a hit pig.

Wait a tick...

What is a hit pig?

Is it explained in terms of the man who is riding his motorbike suddenly pulled to a stop after he saw a pig and then alighted his vehicle before proceeding to hit the pig in question and in retaliation got into a melee scuffle resulting in him ending up in the hospital?

OR

Is it some sort of like a skilled porcine with exceptional marksmanship that is trained to kill like that of a hit man? Funny as it may seem, you haven't yet replace the porcine terminology with cows or goats. Then, we would have a bunch of high ranking mercenaries amongst the herd. LoL!

Perhaps a proper terminology or description would better clarify the matter and clear any potential misinterpretation.

"The patient had been a victim of motor vehicle accident where the motorbike that he is riding on collided with a pig. The injuries that he sustained are as follows:-"

But of course, that would take time and a mouthful. Rather, us doctors do need some light session to destress the significant cortisol levels in our body. Such would of course help to lower them and keep illnesses at bay. LMAO!

Just something I would like to share ahead of the harsh journey traveling back after the festivities. Here's to wishing you all a safe journey back. Check those vehicle of yours, engine, battery water, windscreen wipers and its water level, engine and brake oils, gears, brakes, tyres and the spare ones too. Make sure you get adequate sleep the day before you start your journey. Any mishaps and misadventures can be prevented. God bless! =)
