Coffee Oats

Decided to give this fusion a try and it turned out pretty much simply bland. Not many would love to give this a go and I'm talking about pure black coffee. Those simply dark roasted without any sugar or cream added to it. Plus that into your bland oats and top it up with hot boiling water and leave it to cool. Then eat it just like that. I won't lie to you. Only those who don't have a taste for anything would actually find this edible. I made about 150 grams of coffee oats and walloped the whole thing in less than a minute. That's pretty much like half a big soup bowl. The conclusion? Yucky but yummy! Well, only a health freak like me who has no sense of enjoyment in food life would say yes to this kinda thing. But if you decided to have a better go for this sorta food, may I recommend adding a little bit of chocolate milk or raisins or yogurt. Strawberries and cherries or even mango slices may give it a kick, but I find these unoriginal and adds on to your caloric intake per shift. Hence, I tend to forgo that and go with my typical 150 kcals of fixed oats which I take every morning. That said, I can save more than enough calories for the other meals.

On a side note, I love coffee! Black coffee to be specific. And as I have stated in my past entries, I take these delicious black coffee in the morning everyday since January last year without sugar, without cream, without milk. But lately I had to put some milk in it for the calcium requirements as I am pushing weights back again. I take black coffee empty coz it saves calories. One big cup like that would go for around 0-1 kcal and is literally zero in fats and carbs. I've sorta developed a knack for these bitter things and I don't complain even when things are cooked bland. I think I'm eccentric... or weird... but I've seen enough of diabetes, hypertension and ischemic heart disease.
